Resumen:

The present work aims to present an overview of the digital violence that arose between the student community and the teaching staff of the National School of Social Work from the transition from a face-to-face educational model to a remote one of emergency derived from confinement by the COVID-19 pandemic in Mexico. The study was carried out through questionnaires given to students and teachers during the second part of the 2020-2021 school year, as well as a documentary investigation on digital violence. Among the results obtained, it was possible to identify that, from the increase in the use of digital tools, as well as social networks for educational purposes, cases of digital violence among the student community, from teachers to students and vice versa, increased. Another of the results obtained is that there is little progress in the classification of digital violence in Mexico, and the existing legislation has focused on aspects related to digital violence of a sexual nature and not on other types of transgressions that can occur in an educational context. As part of the conclusions, the need for greater protection in cases of digital violence in an educational context was identified, mainly in the face of an imminent transition that will take place in Mexico to a hybrid model in most of the school system
