Resumen:

This paper describes a computer model for visual compositions. It formalises a series of concepts that allows a computer agent to progress a visual work. We implemented a prototype to test the model; it employs letters from the alphabet to create its compositions. The knowledge base was built from examples provided by designers. From these examples the system obtained the necessary information to produce novel compositions. We asked a panel of experts to evaluate the material produced by our system. The results suggest that we are in the right track although much more work needs to be done. © 2013 Proceedings of the 4th International Conference on Computational Creativity, ICCC 2013.
