Resumen:

In the particular case of systemic family therapy, there is not enough evidence on the experiences of teletherapy; however, during the confinement, many therapists began to provide online services. In this chapter, we present the research that we conducted in Mexico to learn about the experiences of family therapists regarding online psychological care, derived from the COVID-19 contingency. The experiences of 100 therapists who responded to a specially designed online questionnaire are described. Through snowball sampling, several family therapists were invited to respond. The results showed the advantages and areas of opportunity that opened up for family therapists with respect to online therapy, as well as the need for training and updating on the subject. © The Author(s), 2023.
