Resumen:

Breast cancer remains a deadly disease, even with all the recent technological advancements for its detection and treatment. The resistance of breast cancer therapy is a critical problem that is not fully understood. In this sense, the molecular classification of this pathology determines the treatment that the patient needs. Different immune and non-immune therapies have been enforced for this pathology. In this regard, in the present chapter, we will compile and describe the use of clinical immune options such as immunoconjugates as an alternative for avoiding breast cancer resistance to conventional therapy. In addition, the present work is focused on addressing the in vitro approaches until clinical studies about the effects of these drugs in breast cancer. © 2021 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
